  When used with a controller, as it was originally made for, Dishwasher VS is one of the smoothest and well controlling side scrolling hack and slashes on the market today. the actual campaign can be run through in only a few hours, but with the inclusion of 2 seperate playable character (with seperate arsenals), online co-op, 50 arcade maps, and 30 hidden powerups strewn throughout its ten or so levels youll find it gives plenty of bang for each buck.
  
  The story is rather loose and nonsensical at times pushing your choice of two seperate main characters forward in the quest of revenge. If its a great story your looking for, you wont find it here. The graphics are a sort of love it or hate it style. everything is hand drawn by the two person two cat studio, and as such has their style seeping out of every frame. the whit and grayish tones clash beautifully as your blades carve up the enemies around spraying crimson blood all over the map in beautifully animated rampages throughout the maps.
  
  Difficulty wise the game can range from almost unlosable with its unlockable pretty princess mode (complete with a pink heart filled overlay that makes your enemies bleed rainbows and hearts, to the truly challenging samurai mode that will through legions of enemies after you testing your twitch reactions, as it punishes any missteps with near instant death.
  
  Ultimatley if your a fan of games like bayonetta or devil may cry, and are open to experiencing them through a 2-d lens then this is a must have. get an xbox controller and have a blast..
